Psychological risk assessment that satisfies the ASchG — and actually tells you what’s going on.
The Problem
Austrian law requires every employer to assess psychological hazards in the workplace. Since the 2013 ASchG amendment, this isn’t optional — it’s a legal obligation enforced by the Labour Inspectorate.
But most assessments are checkbox exercises. Generic tools, surface-level reports, and no real insight into what’s actually causing strain. You end up with a document that satisfies the inspector but doesn’t tell you where to intervene. And when the Inspectorate raises questions about methodology, you need to know your assessment holds up.
The Solution
We conduct psychological risk assessments that meet all ASchG requirements (§§ 4, 5, 7) while delivering genuine diagnostic value. We use validated instruments per ÖNORM EN ISO 10075-3, cover all four legally mandated dimensions, and build the assessment around your actual organizational structure — not a one-size-fits-all template.
Full compliance documentation for the Labour Inspectorate, plus a clear picture of where psychological hazards exist and what to do about them.
Assessment meets all Labour Inspectorate criteria. Full documentation for your safety and health record.
Anonymity and neutral facilitation surface what internal surveys miss.
Systematic detection of psychological hazards across all four ASchG dimensions: task demands, work organization, work environment, and organizational climate.
The ASchG mandates assessment across four dimensions of psychological workplace hazards:
Emotional strain from customer contact, sustained attention requirements, qualification mismatch, monotonous tasks.
Time pressure, break patterns, shift work, unclear responsibilities, frequent interruptions.
Noise, lighting, climate conditions, software usability, workspace design.
Leadership behavior, communication quality, collaboration, conflict culture, social support.
We assess conditions, not individuals. The goal is to improve work design at the source — not to screen employees.
The ASchG defines a structured process for psychological risk assessment. We follow it — and make sure every step produces usable output, not just paperwork.
We set up the project together with your leadership, prevention staff, and works council. We define work groups, select the right instruments, and align on timeline.
We select validated instruments matched to your organization size and structure — standardized questionnaires, moderated group interviews, or workplace observations.
We gather data with guaranteed anonymity. Employees provide honest input because we’re external and neutral.
We evaluate results per work group, identify hazardous conditions, and benchmark against established standards.
You receive concrete, source-level interventions — not yoga courses. Full documentation in your safety and health record per ASchG.
We check whether implemented measures actually reduced the identified risks and adjust the assessment as needed.
Every project is different. Let's discuss your specific requirements and create a custom proposal.
